Performance Data over the years

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Our EYFS outcomes remain consistently strong at 83%.
This is well above national figures, showing that children at Park View get off to a strong start in their learning. They enter Year 1 with solid foundations in communication, early literacy, and early maths skills that prepare them well for the next stage of the curriculum.

Phonics Screening Check

Our phonics results have continued to rise year-on-year, reaching 84% in 2025.


This is higher than the national benchmark (79%), showing that children are developing early reading skills rapidly and confidently. Strong phonics results also help children access the wider curriculum with greater independence.

KS1 Outcomes (End of Year 2)

Reading

Park View children consistently perform above or in line with national averages in both expected standard and greater depth. This shows that children develop early comprehension skills well and are confident readers by the end of KS1.

Writing

Writing outcomes continue to remain above national figures, showing that pupils are successfully developing vocabulary, sentence structure, and confidence in expressing ideas through writing.

Maths

Maths results are strong and consistently higher than national, demonstrating secure understanding of number, fluency and reasoning skills in early primary years.

KS2 Outcomes (End of Year 6)

Combined Reading, Writing & Maths

Our combined scores are above national averages, showing that pupils are well-rounded, achieving strongly across all core subjects. This is a significant strength, as combined data reflects consistency across the whole curriculum.

Reading

Reading at KS2 remains a real success. Both expected standard and higher‑level results are above national, demonstrating that children leave Park View as fluent, confident readers with strong comprehension abilities.

Writing

Writing outcomes remain secure and above national, reflecting pupils’ ability to produce high-quality written work across a range of genres. This shows strength in vocabulary, stamina for writing, and accurate spelling and grammar.

Maths

Maths performance continues to compare very positively with national results. Pupils show strong understanding of number, reasoning skills, and problem solving, preparing them well for secondary school expectations.

Attendance

Our attendance remains close to national expectations, and persistent absence has reduced year‑on‑year. This reflects our school’s strong partnership with families, consistent support, and our shared commitment to regular school attendance.
