Welcome to Class 6R

My name is Miss Rasul, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the teacher of 6R. As a creative and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher, I place great importance on building strong, positive relationships with my pupils. This final year of primary school is an important milestone for every child, and I feel incredibly fortunate to guide 6R through it.

6R is a class full of hardworking, motivated learners who enjoy being challenged and take real pride in their achievements. In English, we explore a wide range of fiction and non‑fiction texts, which the children love to delve into. Their enthusiasm for reading not only enriches class discussions but also supports the development of essential reading and comprehension skills.

Throughout the year, my aim is to nurture their confidence, deepen their curiosity, and support them in developing the skills they need as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.

I am passionate about bringing fresh ideas, energy, and creativity into the classroom. I am committed to ensuring that 6R not only makes excellent academic progress but also enjoys a memorable and rewarding final year filled with opportunities to grow, achieve, and celebrate their unique strengths.

I am very proud of 6R, and I look forward to everything we will accomplish together.
