Welcome to Class 2R with Miss Raffles! ✨📚

In Year 2, our classroom is a place full of curiosity, creativity, and excitement for learning. We work hard, support each other, and always try our best. We are incredibly proud of our fantastic behaviour and the wonderful progress we make every day.

We love developing our reading skills through the Monster Phonics scheme, where we get to meet all the colourful characters from Monster Phonics Land. They help us become confident readers and make phonics learning fun and memorable! 📖

Our learning is packed with exciting topics from the Kapow Curriculum, which inspire us to ask questions, explore new ideas and show off our talents. From creative projects to fascinating discoveries, there is always something amazing happening in Year 2!

We also enjoy collecting Class Dojo points for our hard work, kindness, and great effort. These points help us earn certificates and prizes, making our achievements even more special. 🌟

Important Information for Families

PE Day — Tuesdays

Please send your child to school wearing their PE kit every Tuesday so they are ready for an active, energetic day.
