At Park View Primary School, we pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos. We believe that all children have an equal right to an education that enables them to develop their personal, social and intellectual potential. At Park View Primary School, we have a commitment to high achievement and we strive to provide all our children with a quality education matched appropriately to their particular needs.
We are committed to working collaboratively with all members of our school community to offer the best possible opportunities for our children.
Our aim is that all children achieve their best and become confident individuals living fulfilling lives as independently as possible. It is important that our children make successful transitions throughout their education and into adulthood.
Occasionally, children may experience difficulties with learning or may struggle with other aspects of their progress and development. These children may have special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND), that could affect their development in many ways including;
- Speech, language and communication
- Behaviour or ability to socialise, e.g. they struggle to make friends
- Reading, writing, mathematical development, e.g. dyslexia/dyscalculia
- The ability to understand things and remember things
- Attention concentration levels, e.g. ADHD
- Physical ability
At Park View Primary School the additional needs of children are carefully identified and addressed.
