Class 3L

Welcome to 3L!

3L is led by both Miss Li and Mrs McClean. On Mondays to Wednesdays, Miss Li will be teaching and Thursdays and Fridays, 3L are lucky to have Mrs McClean teaching them.

In the mornings we have Miss Roberts and Mrs Mahon is with us Wednesdays to Fridays. 

This year we will be learning lots of new skills in Maths and Writing, furthering our love of reading and covering exciting areas in Topic. Below are the Topics we will be learning:

• Through the Ages (Stone Age). 
• Tremors
• Gods and Mortals (Ancient Greeks)
• Mighty Metals 
• Flow (Rivers) 
• Predator

Please look at our topic home learning menu for lots of ideas of activities that you can complete at home.

PE - Our PE lessons are on a Monday. Please can children come into school wearing their PE kit (white t-shirt, black shorts/leggings, black jumper or hoodie and trainers). Earrings should be removed or covered with tape and long hair tied back.

Reading - Children are encouraged to bring in their home school reading book on a weekly basis to be changed every Friday. Children will also have the opportunity to choose a book from the library which they can also read at home. 

Homework - this is handed out on a weekly basis.

Spellings - Spellings are handed out on a Thursday to be tested the following Thursday. Children have the opportunity to learn their spellings in school and are encouraged to practise these at 

home too.
